Month in Review – April 2014

Another month has passed, so it’s time for another month in review.  This is only the second time I’ve done this, though.  But let’s see how the month went!

April Stats

April was an up-and-down month with some lows and a couple really big highs.  That’s right, I got my newest best ever day with 103 views on April 4th.  This is a month of best evers (which isn’t a word).  Best month ever with 1,388 views.  This means I passed the 10,000 view mark and beyond 11,000.  I finished the month with 11,186 views.  Another best is the number of posts.  42 posts in April!

April finished with a total of 1,399 comments, with a 310 coming in April.  Wow.

The top 10 countries for April are:

  1. United States (908)
  2. Canada (113)
  3. United Kingdom (63)
  4. Japan (52)
  5. Australia (33)
  6. New Zealand (22)
  7. India (11)
  8. Sweden (9)
  9. Philippines, South Africa, Germany, Bangladesh, Norway, Hong Kong, Russia (8)

The Alexa ranking, which I don’t exactly trust at the moment due to its wildly fluctuating numbers, is 7,542,211.

I also started a Worldbuilding series, which will go for quite some time.  The Mapmaking post was the 6th top post in April.

I only posted one review this month.  I’ve been reading some long books.

Looking Ahead to May

May will have at least two reviews coming, and I hope more.  Also, I’ll be working on getting the next part of Journey to Ariadne up, finally.  And the really big thing is a complete site redesign, and that’s coming this week!
