Poll: Which Book Are You Interested in the Most?

A few days ago, I posted about some books I recently got from Amazon. I asked for some opinions, but didn’t get many. So, I’d like to do a bit of a poll. Here are the books again.

  1. I’ve read The Name of the Wind and its sequel The Wise Man’s Fear. I’m looking forward to the completion of the trilogy, and I also picked up The Slow Regard of Silent Things (which is an amazing name in my opinion. Just the title gives me shivers), and I intend to read that soon.

      1. I know the book has to do with Auri, a seemingly minor character in Kvothe’s (the MC’s) ken. For some reason the phrase seems really familiar, as if I’ve read it in the narrative of the first or second book before. It puts me in the mind of things/entities that may not make themselves known, but are always watching.

          1. Yes it certainly is! But it focuses on that character instead of Kvothe. I’m not sure if the innkeeper is still narrating the story, but it’s a departure from his own personal narrative. I’m passing curious about the character and how she came to be in that situation.

  2. I picked The Martian even though I’ve already read it (will probably read it again) because I’m interested in your reaction to it. I’d be interested in reading Theft of Swords, myself.

  3. I’ve heard of a few of these, and I can’t make up my mind between The Name of the Wind, The Martian, and Mistborn … I think all three are on my TBR shelf. Maybe Mistborn?
