Choose My Best Instagram Photos – Round 1, Group 40

Group 40! Almost two thirds of the way through now. This time, we have a lot of architecture, boats, and a lot of shiny buildings. I really like a lot of the pictures in this group, so I think it’ll be one of the most difficult ones to vote on. I hope you enjoy it!

The rules are simple. I post 10 of my Instagram photos every few days, and you get to vote on your favourites. It’s multiple choice, so please vote for 2 to 4 photos (3 is ideal). Leave a comment saying why you voted the way you did. The poll comes after the photos.

Here are the photos:

And now the vote. Please vote for your favourite photos (ideally 3, but anywhere between 2 and 4):

Thanks for voting! Please leave a comment below with your choices and why. I look forward to seeing what you like.

  1. My #1 Pick is Nipponmaru the sailing ship and ferris wheel…perfect photo, the movement of the water, the great shot of the ship’s rigging, the touches of red and blue. This shot is not at all cluttered, but has a LOT going on! 🙂
#2 Minato Mirai Clouds … gorgeous sunrise/sunset clouds, peaceful cityscape
#3 Xerox HQ Reflection…I love reflecting glass buildings, the patterns and colors.
#4 Yokohoma Skyline…for its brooding sky and proportional grass, concrete, and buildings…and people in the shot

These are not necessarily in order of how much I like them. Also, the shots that I did NOT pick are excellent too…the Condos are grand–a close runner-up to the Xerox building.

I like this feature a lot JD!

      1. I think I did…I love polls (weird me) … unless I was hung up on your 3 or 4 choices…and the Yokohama skyline didn’t make the cut exactly but I did love it so it sort of got “honorable mention” 🙂

        1. Well, you’re welcome to vote for up to 4 🙂 3 is ideal, since I usually have 3 advance to the next round.

          Anyway, thanks for the votes!
