If you’ve read this book, what did you think? Let me know in the comments below.

  1. quite a coincidental happenstance, i am actually reading that same book now. and it gave me a slight turn to see you holding up the book in your video. this paperback has been published new i think. and it has a not at the back saying not for sale in canada. so how come u are able to get a copy of it? haha. i have only got up to page 149. i have read bits and pieces of it but not all in one big read. so far i find it funny, it helps if u find farting jokes funny. as in slatibartfast.haha.

    1. The copy I had was actually one I bought in Japan several years ago. I don’t have the copy anymore, so what I showed in the video was an image of the cover I showed with my phone.

Slartibartfast is a great name, too.

        1. Not actually clever, I don’t think. I’m actually surprised my iPhone inside camera can focus on both my face and my old iPhone’s screen so clearly at the same time.

          1. it is clever, i mean is it done in front of a mirror? there is no camera man taking it is there? it is all done by you alone right? i still cant figure out how u did it. was a mirror used at some point?

            1. It’s just a feature of iPhones. There are 2 cameras. I’m using the inside camera, which faces you as you look at the screen. I just put the phone on a dresser and press record, then talk. Pretty simple.

  2. Read the series back in the mid 80s in HS…I still come back to them every few years or so. Definitely check out the radio series too–they’re a bit sillier and more willingly chaotic. 🙂
