Welcome, Wonder Woman Trailer

It’s out. The second Wonder Woman trailer. It seems they’ve been able to make some pretty good trailers for the DC universe movies.  Batman v Superman had some really good trailers, but the movie turned out to be not so great. What’s going to happen with Wonder Woman? Watch this:

My initial reaction: Wow. I want to see this movie! A lot of it looks beautifully done. Some of it looks grand. It would look great on the big screen.

There have been so many superhero movies and TV series in recent years. I haven’t seen many of them. That makes me want to watch as many of them as I can.

What did you think of the trailer? And which superhero movies and TV series do you recommend? Let me know in the comments section below.

  1. WW definitely looks promising. We actually get a sense of the plot here — and it looks good.

And I’ve just heard that “Justice League” is going to involve Kirby’s Fourth World — though from an unexpected angle. That could be really cool.

As far as what’s out already, I like all the Marvel Cineverse episodes, plus the original Spider-Man and some of the X-Men variants. Oh, and “The Incredibles” and “The Rocketeer” are two of my favorites, if those count as superhero flicks.

      1. The “Fourth World” series is a set of stories created by Jack Kirby under the DC banner in the 1970s. It was tied in with the regular DC universe, but to a large extent operated by itself. Fascinating and eccentric characters and story lines. The principal adversary, Darkseid, is one of the best villains ever, IMHO. (Marvel’s Thanos, I’m told, was an imitation of Darkseid.) The characters and mythos eventually got reused and adapted in later DC publications — but there’s still nothing like the original. See Wikipedia at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_World_(comics) for some background.
