Remembering the 2011 Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan

It’s been 6 years since the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. It’s a very strong memory in my life, and something I’ll never forget. I recently started a new science channel and my first feature topic is about megathrust earthquakes and the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami. Check it out.

Any comments are definitely welcome.

  1. I was in China during the earthquake. What I remember most were the Chinese hoarding of salt. For some reason they thought salt would protect them from any radiation. For weeks you could not find any salt to buy. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that the Chinese diet has way too much salt. When I left China, I had elevated blood pressure which I have been able to get under control again.
