Library Photo Project

The Library Photo Project is a project to gather as many library photos as possible and showcase them here on this blog.  This is a fusion of architecture, photography, and libraries, three things that I love.  Libraries are prominent buildings in any city or town, and often have very unique designs.  For readers and writers, libraries are like a sacred place for books and knowledge, which are extremely important to society.  Accordingly, the building is often beautifully designed.  Of course, this isn’t always the case, but it’s great to find wonderfully designed libraries.

I’m listing the libraries by country, state/province/prefecture/territory/region, and city/town.

Japan

Kanagawa

Fujisawa – Tsujido City Library

Kamakura – Ofuna Library

Yamato – Yamato City Library
