Not what expected on a Sunday morning going to work. I was about to enter the station when I saw paramedics wheeling a man on a stretcher through the ticket gates.
He seemed a bit overweight, and his shirt had been removed. Heart problems? Heart attack? That’s what I’m guessing.
It’s really not what I want to see at any time.
We paid for green car tickets from Urawa to Tsujido at 4:03. Turns out that train was cancelled. We had to get a refund and pay for another later train that doesn’t go that far.
Our new train is at 4:18. And my daughter is being rather impatient and constantly trying to run away. Very dangerous for her to try that on a train station platform.
At Akabane Station in Tokyo, waiting for our last train to Saitama, we saw this restaurant. It sells soba, udon, and rice bowl dishes.
My daughter’s been spending the time playing Anpanman puzzle games on an iPod touch. But can’t let her play too much. She gets into it too much. She was awful last night and cried when it was time for bed.
We’re in Tokyo and taking a second train. We changed at Shinjuku Station. Here’s our train. Sorry, it’s a bit blurry.
Next stop is in Saitama.
This is not the train I’m taking.
It’s the train that came before the one I’m on now. That one was a local. We’re taking an express train to Shinjuku, Tokyo. It’s a bit rainy today, but not heavy. Everyone is using umbrellas, but I don’t think they’re necessary.
